Travelling with Your Mobile Device

Good Advice from Rogers Media, Inc
   > www.rogers.com/roaming

Roaming
Once you leave Canada, you are roaming off the Rogers network and rates will vary depending on where you are and what you are doing. Text "Travel" to 7626 to view affordable and easy to use roaming options.

Get a Roaming Data Pass
Sharing a picture or checking email requires data. Roaming Data Passes start at $15 and include:
* Free near real-time text alerts that let you monitor data usage &
* Data service cutoffs upon data pass expiration, so you always know what you are going to pay.

Get a Combo Travel Pack
If you need voice and text services, there are combo packages available that are good for a month.
* One time fees apply with a set number of roaming voice minutes and text messages included.
* Check out www.rogers.com/roaming for details.

Turn Off "Push" Email
Email, especially messages with attachments, eats up data. Using the "Push" feature downloads email onto your device. Turn this off and manually download emails when you are in a WI-FI hotspot.

Save Juice on Your Mobile Device
You can save power by disabling Blue Tooth and WI-FI. Turn on the WI-FI when looking for a hotspot.
Turn down your screen brightness setting.
Close apps that run in the background.
